Circumstances where you may not be invited to view a property:

If you are successful in being nominated to a vacancy from the Housing register, the Housing Assocaiton who owns the property will then make their own assessment to determine whether they are able to offer you the tenancy. There may be circusmtances in which the Housing Association refuses the Council's nomination if it breaches their own policy.  An example of this might be where the applicant has rent arrears with a current or former landlord.

We advise you to contact your current or former landlord(s) to make arrangements to repay any existing arrears as a matter of urgency.

Please also note that housing associations operate their own allocation policies  with which applicants must also comply in order to be invited to view a property.
